Technically speaking...
Asphalt is a mixture of limestone rock, sand and liquid asphalt. The correct combination of these materials is designed by computer at our asphalt manufacturing facility. Every mix design is monitored by our own state licensed technician for various job conditions.

Rock is more durable than sand, but sand has a smoother appearance than rock, so by manufacturing these two products together, a mixture is gained that is smooth and durable, resulting in added eye appeal and value to your property.
